So I just replied and now I feel like the pen community is going to kick me out of the club. The unfortunate thing is it s a $548 pen that I've had for a month that I couldn't write with. ![]() I respectfully told him that it would cost $30-$40 to send it to a nibsmith to fix or tune. Basically saying take that to a nibmeister to fix for a few bucks because it would cost too much to send it back to Italy. I mentioned having problems on a thread in a facebook post and he replied. UPDATE: I tried to handle it personally with Mr. I knew that during these times these companies are working at minimal staff so it's been a month. My pen club told me to personally contact Mr. ![]() I contacted Pineider's Instagram then their facebook. They told me to contact Pineider or Yafa. It would flow heavily in one moment then after a few words or letters it would hard start. It hard starts and the ink flow is intermittent. I got a stub nib and the quill nib is very soft with not much bounce back. When i contacted the store the person who personally packed the box said that the blue bee pen (which was missing the paper sleeve around the gift box) originally had been packed with a sleeve and he had checked to make sure the pens were pristine.Ĭonsidering you don't have any previous posts there's too much coincidence considering that these pens are LE and the timeline. There was evidence of tampering to the package where there were extra layers of tape on the bottom of the box. The package was shipped 6/24 which was about the same time you posted this.ĮDIT: FYI the shipment was delayed and i received the pens a few days later. My guess is whoever took it out to play with it didn't realize it needed to be inked before it writes. They also ruined the tip by pressing hard on it resulting in a bent tip. Turns out someone had opened the package and taken the blue bee out of the sleeve. Did you ink it?Ĭoincidentally i also ordered and received an arco Blue bee with it which was delayed in transit for quite a bit. I just got the arco oak and mine writes just fine.
